Why I built SafSteps

SafSteps creator

From being a little afraid… to feeling trapped within four walls for years, I’ve been there.

I grew up struggling with anxiety attacks that eventually led to agoraphobia. Over time, leaving home became harder and harder. I missed out on moments with family, friends, and life itself.

Eventually, I reached a point where I knew I wanted a different chapter for my life. But recovery is not as simple as β€œsnapping out of it.” I needed support. I needed encouragement. I needed tools that could help me actually see progress while taking small safe steps forward.

The problem was… I could not find anything built specifically for that journey. Most apps felt too clinical, disconnected, or simply did not understand what living with anxiety and agoraphobia truly feels like.

So I created SafSteps.
